Aeroflot Technics expands its competencies

Aeroflot Technics, as part of obtaining the FAP-109 certificate, successfully passed the audit of the Federal Air Transport Agency for performing operational maintenance of Boeing 787 aircraft at Sheremetyevo Airport. Approval has been received to ensure flights of foreign airlines operating flights to Moscow on this type of aircraft.

During the audit, representatives of the Federal Air Transport Agency checked the work of Aeroflot Technics divisions, the professional competencies of employees and internal regulatory documents of the organization, inspected production, warehouse and office premises.

The provider has fully confirmed compliance with the requirements of the updated Federal Aviation Regulations.

In accordance with the certificate received, Aeroflot Technics aviation specialists will be able to carry out operational maintenance of Boeing 787 aircraft, including troubleshooting on aircraft and engines.

Recall that today Aeroflot Technics performs operational and periodic maintenance of Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Boeing 787, Airbus A350, Airbus A330, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A320ceo and Superjet 100 aircraft. It is the only organization in Russia with unique competencies in terms of performing heavy forms of maintenance of Boeing 747 and Boeing 777 aircraft, as well as periodic maintenance of Airbus A350.
