The procedure for replacing of chassis racks refers to scheduled work and is performed on Airbus A330 aircraft once every 10 years or every 20 000 flight cycles, whichever comes first. These works were carried out within two months on three Aeroflot aircraft. All racks have been replaced on each aircraft: the bow and the two main ones.

The work was carried out in strict accordance with the technical operation manual of the aircraft. Additionally, an inspection of the condition of the components of the chassis racks, the replacement of some elements and assemblies, as well as the application of a layer of cadmium to protect against corrosion was carried out.

After completing all the procedures, the operation of the exhaust and cleaning system of the chassis was checked. All control tests confirmed the normal operation of the chassis racks.
