Approval to perform maintenance of Airbus A320NEO aircraft

A-Technics has received a permit to perform maintenance of Airbus A320 NEO family aircraft

The provider of maintenance and repair of aircraft A-Technics (part of the Aeroflot Group) has successfully passed the audit of the Federal Air Transport Agency for performing operational and periodic maintenance of Airbus A320 NEO family aircraft at Sheremetyevo base Airport and operational maintenance of this type at the linear station of Sochi.

Within the framework of the extended FAP-285 certificate, the provider will perform the widest range of maintenance of aircraft of this type, including heavy forms of C-check and structural repair of components.

C-check on Airbus A320 NEO aircraft is performed every two years or every 7,500 flight hours, and involves significant disassembly of the aircraft, a large amount of inspection and other types of work.

During the audit, representatives of the Federal Air Transport Agency checked the work of A-Technics divisions, the professional competencies of employees and internal regulatory documents of the organization, inspected production, warehouse and office premises. The provider has fully confirmed compliance with the requirements of the regulator.

Also, as part of the expansion of the scope of activity, an audit was conducted and approval was received for the operational maintenance of the Airbus A330 aircraft with PW 4000 engines at the base in Sheremetyevo and at the linear station of Sochi.

Thus, to date, A-Technics has the competence and permits to perform maintenance on nine types of aircraft: Boeing 737NG, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-400F, Boeing 777, Airbus A350, Airbus A330, Airbus A320 NEO, Airbus A320 CEO, SSJ-100.
