A-Technics summed up the results of the work over the past year

«А-Техникс» подвёл итоги работы за прошедший год

In 2022, the provider performed more than 300 forms of periodic maintenance of aircraft

A-Technics, an aircraft maintenance and repair provider, part of the Aeroflot Group, performed more than 300 forms of periodic aircraft maintenance in 2022.

Over the past year, A-Technics has completed 54 «heavy» C-check forms, 19 of which are on the wide—body fleet (Boeing 777, Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A330), more than 250 «lighter» A-check forms and more than 220 additional works, such as replacing engines, auxiliary power plants and other things. In addition, the provider performed all forms of operational maintenance on a daily basis as part of the pre-flight and post-flight training of aircraft.

The completed volumes indicate that despite the unprecedented sanctions of Western countries against Russian civil aviation, the company continued stable work and reliable technical support of the Aeroflot Group's air fleet.

During the year, A-Technics carried out simultaneous technical support of more than 300 aircraft, ensuring a high level of availability of the air fleet for the smooth implementation of the flight program.

«Despite external factors and challenges, our company has managed to continue its steady work and development. During the year, we successfully performed a full cycle of maintenance of Aeroflot Group aircraft in all forms — from «light» to the most labor-intensive «heavy». To date, for the stable maintenance of the airworthiness of the Group's air fleet, A-Technics has everything you need: highly qualified personnel, rich experience, in-depth knowledge of existing aviation equipment and the necessary material base. In 2023, the process of expanding competencies and increasing the volume of work performed will continue. In the end, A-Technics will become Russia's largest center for maintenance and repair of domestic and Western aviation equipment», said Mikhail Korobovich, General Director of A-Technics.

In 2022, active work continued to expand the scope of the company's activities. In March, A-Technics successfully passed the audit of the Federal Air Transport Agency for the extension of the FAP-285 certificate for the maintenance of Airbus and Boeing aircraft registered in the Russian register. In June, the provider received the FAP-21 section J certificate, which allows the development of documentation for the manufacture of a number of components for any types of aircraft of domestic and Western production. This made it possible to continue uninterrupted technical support of the Aeroflot Group's air fleet under the conditions of sanctions.

As part of the implementation of the new strategy for the organization of maintenance of the Aeroflot Group's air fleet, in the second half of the year, the provider began accepting the production facilities of the Aeroflot Maintenance Department. Thus, A-Technics became the only provider of periodic maintenance services for the fleet of the Aeroflot Group at Sheremetyevo Airport. The company currently operates six hangars (five at Sheremetyevo Airport and one at Orenburg Airport), in which up to 17 aircraft can be marked up for basic maintenance at the same time. The transfer of operational maintenance volumes is planned for this year.

In 2022, the provider was actively developing a network of its linear service stations in the regions. A-Technics has opened linear stations at the airports of Vladivostok, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Perm, Ufa and Khabarovsk. To date, the provider has 13 stations, which is almost twice as much as a year earlier. The opening of new A-Technics line stations is part of a systematic process of expanding the geography of its presence through the transfer of production capacities of Aeroflot line stations. In addition, during the year, the provider actively expanded the certificates of its linear stations both by aircraft types and by the list of works.
