A-Technics wird umbenannt in Aeroflot Technics

«А-Техникс» будет переименован в «Аэрофлот Техникс»

The new name will strengthen the provider's position as part of the Aeroflot Group and the leader in the MRO

As part of the implementation of the strategy for the development of aircraft maintenance and repair, Aeroflot has decided to rename the specialized subsidiary of A-Technics to Aeroflot Technics.

The new name Aeroflot Technics will strengthen the provider's positioning as an enterprise of the Aeroflot Group and a leader in the aircraft maintenance and repair market (hereinafter referred to as MRO) in the Russian Federation. As part of the implementation of the new model of organization of maintenance in the Aeroflot Group, the provider will eventually become the largest aircraft maintenance company in Russia and Eastern Europe, providing a full cycle of maintenance of all types of aircraft operated by the Group's airlines.

Currently, the provider has the FAP-285 certificate for the maintenance of aircraft of foreign and domestic production, as well as the FAP-21 certificate (section J) for the development of design repair schemes and documentation for the manufacture of aircraft components. Performs operational and periodic maintenance of Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Airbus A350, Airbus A330, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A320ceo and SSJ 100 aircraft. The company operates five hangar complexes at Sheremetyevo Airport and one at Orenburg Airport, which allows to simultaneously install up to 17 aircraft for basic maintenance: from narrow-body Superjet 100 to wide-body Boeing 747-400 aircraft. The company has the largest network of linear stations in Russia, located in 13 cities: Belgorod, Vladivostok, Voronezh, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Saratov, Sochi, Stavropol, Ufa and Khabarovsk.
