Open Day for applicants from the Far East

Starting from the new school year 2024, the first 100 applicants will begin training under a network program with the participation of Aeroflot Technics

On January 26, 2024, representatives of the aircraft maintenance and repair provider Aeroflot Technics took part in a career event dedicated to the implementation of a network training program in terms of training aviation specialists in the operation and maintenance of aviation equipment in Primorye. The event was attended by Sergey Ivanovich Osipov, Deputy Director of the Personnel Training Department of Aeroflot Technics, as well as Evgeny Vladimirovich Shulepov, Director of the Rocket and Space Technology Branch of MAI.

At the Open Day in the city of Artyom, high school students learned in more detail about the profession of an aircraft technician and training at the Moscow Aviation Institute on the basis of a branch of Vladivostok State University, as well as about the prospects of building a career in the largest company in the aircraft maintenance and repair market.

Recall that the project is being implemented jointly with the Ministry of Vocational Education of the Primorsky Territory. The training of aviation specialists accepted under the online training program will begin in September 2024. The first 100 people will enroll in secondary vocational education in the following specialties: Technical operation of aircraft and engines and Technical operation of electrified and flight navigation complexes.

The Moscow Aviation Institute will act as a basic university and will be responsible for training in specialized disciplines and training for the type of aircraft. VVSU will become a partner university in basic and part of specialized disciplines. Students will complete a mandatory internship at the provider's production base, and after training they will have the opportunity to work at Aeroflot Technologies.

Thanks to this strategic program, it became possible to meet the needs of the Far Eastern Federal District for qualified aviation and technical personnel.
