Aeroflot Technics has launched training programs with MAI and VVSU

Aeroflot Technics, together with MAI and VVSU, launched online training programs.

Aeroflot Technics, the largest provider of aircraft maintenance and repair (part of the Aeroflot Group), has started training specialists in the operation and maintenance of aviation equipment in Primorye. The purpose of the educational program is to create a pool of highly qualified aviation and technical personnel in the Far Eastern Federal District.

The project is being implemented jointly with the Ministry of Vocational Education of the Primorsky Territory, the Administration of the Artemovsky City District, the Moscow Aviation Institute (a branch of Rocket and Space Technology), Vladivostok State University and Vladivostok International Airport.

Aeroflot Technologies is an industrial partner of online educational programs in the following specialties: Technical operation of aircraft and engines and Technical operation of electrified and flight navigation complexes. Vladivostok Airport acts as a platform where students will practice.

On September 9, 2024, a solemn meeting of students took place within the walls of the VVSU branch. The event dedicated to the launch of online educational programs was attended by Yulia Chichko, Director of the Personnel Management Department of Aeroflot Technics, Evgeny Shulepov, Director of the Rocket and Space Technology branch of MAI, Vyacheslav Vasilyevich, Head of the Artemovsky District of Kvon, as well as Denis Chmutov, General Director of Vladivostok International Airport.

Students will be taught by two universities, one of which is the leading specialized aviation educational institution in Russia. The Moscow Aviation Institute will act as a basic university and will be responsible for developing an educational program, coordinating the content of basic disciplines, training in specialized disciplines and training for the type of aircraft. VVSU will become a partner university and will provide training in basic and part of specialized disciplines. The first and second year of study will be held at the VVSU base, and the 3-4 course will be held at the MAI base.

Students will acquire practical work skills at the Aeroflot Technics production base at Sheremetyevo and Vladivostok airports, and after graduation, graduates will have the opportunity to get a guaranteed job at an aircraft maintenance company.

The provider has hangar complexes at Sheremetyevo and Orenburg airports, as well as linear stations in Belgorod, Vladivostok, Voronezh, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Mineralnye Vody, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Perm, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Saratov, Sochi, Stavropol, Surgut, Ufa, Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
