Aeroflot Technics, an aircraft maintenance and repair provider (part of the Aeroflot Group), has opened a linear maintenance station at Blagoveshchensk Airport. Station will provide technical support for flights in the interests of the Aeroflot Group and is certified to perform operational maintenance of four types of airliners: Boeing 777, Boeing 737NG, Airbus A320Family and Superjet 100. The first flight, the maintenance of which was provided by station's specialists in Blagoveshchensk, was a flight of Rossiya Airlines (part of the Aeroflot Group) from Vladivostok, operated on a Superjet 100 aircraft. The new station is equipped with a modern material and technical base and is staffed by highly qualified specialists from among the local residents. All of them have received additional training on aircraft types. Station's personnel are certified in categories B1 and B2, and also have the necessary permits for various types of routine maintenance. The total number of provider's stations in the country has reached 19, of which 5 are in the cities of the Far East (Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Blagoveshchensk). Aeroflot Technics currently has the largest network of linear stations in Russia among aircraft maintenance and repair companies. The opening of each new station allows the Aeroflot Group not only to carry out high-quality maintenance at off-base airports, but also to create new jobs in the regions for qualified aviation technical personnel. _________
