Marat Tereshchenko will become the CEO of the Aeroflot Technics

Aeroflot informs about changes in the management of the technical provider of the Group. Marat Tereshchenko will be appointed CEO of the MRO provider Aeroflot Technics. He will replace Mikhail Korobovich, who has led the company since its foundation in 2015.

On behalf of the entire management of Aeroflot, I would like to note the crucial role of Mikhail Korobovich in consolidating the functionality and resources of the Aeroflot Group for aircraft maintenance and repair, – said Sergey Alexandrovsky, CEO of Aeroflot. – Over the past nine years, a difficult path has been taken to create and become the largest technical aviation provider in Eastern Europe. During this time, there were many difficult challenges and tasks: providing maintenance and repair of aircraft in the context of a pandemic, and then – and within the framework of unprecedented sanctions from unfriendly states.

A large-scale transformation of the maintenance system in the Aeroflot Group was carried out, new hangars and linear stations were put into operation, the range of competencies and certification of the provider in terms of the work performed on the repair of Western equipment was significantly expanded. Mikhail Yuryevich's huge personal contribution and his professionalism have always been a guarantee of the successful implementation of the tasks set.

Starting December 1, the new CEO of Aeroflot Technics, Marat Tereshchenko, will begin implementing the company's further development strategy, which is aimed at improving the unique competencies of the staff, expanding the production line of the provider's capabilities, as well as external partnerships in providing high-quality aircraft maintenance and repair services.

Marat Tereshchenko has more than 30 years of experience in civil aviation. He worked his way up from an aircraft mechanic at the flight test station of the Tashkent Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov to the General director of S7 ENGINEERING LLC. He has in-depth expert knowledge and practical skills in the field of maintenance and repair of aircraft equipment of domestic and foreign production. As CEO, he successfully managed one of the largest MRO enterprises in Russia.

In 2022, he was invited to PJSC Aeroflot as an advisor to the airline's technical director. He organized the necessary certification of the activities of the new design solutions development department, which allowed the company to fend off the operational challenges that arose and ensure the required high performance of the fleet.

Being one of the most qualified domestic experts in the field of international aviation legislation, he organized the preparation and publication of a large number of initiatives, including legislative ones, in the field of ensuring safety and improving the efficiency of aviation transportation.
