A-Technics has expanded the certificate of the developer of aviation components

«А-Техникс» расширил сертификат разработчика авиационных компонентов

A-Technics has extended the certificate of the developer of aviation components (FAP-21 section J)

Maintenance and repair provider A-Technics (part of the Aeroflot Group) has successfully passed the audit of the Federal Air Transport Agency for the extension of the certificate of the developer of aviation components (FAP-21 section J), which was received in June this year.

Now A-Technics has received permission to develop and approve documentation for performing atypical structural repairs of any aircraft of domestic and foreign production. In addition, the list of aircraft systems has been significantly expanded, on which the provider can develop and certify minor changes (modifications) of the standard design for Class II and III components, and develop repair documentation. These include components of the air conditioning system, lighting equipment, windows, doors, hatches, braking devices, thrust reversal, fuselage skin, aerodynamic surfaces of aircraft, etc.

Earlier A-Technics had the right to develop documentation for the production and modification of level III components (elements of buffet and kitchen equipment, passenger cabin, crew cabin, emergency rescue equipment, etc.).

Thus today A-Technics has the opportunity to independently perform a full cycle of work: from development to completion of repair or modification of aircraft. Under the conditions of sanctions, the updated certificate will allow the provider to provide comprehensive technical support to partner airlines in cases where it is necessary to develop, approve and perform repairs that are not described by the current operational documentation of the aircraft manufacturer.

A-Technics will continue to work on the consistent expansion of its competencies to provide high-quality maintenance and maintain the airworthiness of the fleet of the Aeroflot Group and other Russian air carriers.
