Aeroflot Technics will train specialists for the aviation industry of the Far East

«Аэрофлот Техникс» будет готовить специалистов для авиаотрасли Дальнего Востока

The provider of aircraft maintenance and repair Aeroflot Technics (part of the Aeroflot Group) will train specialists in the operation and maintenance of aviation equipment in Primorye.

The project is being implemented jointly with the Ministry of Vocational Education of Primorsky Krai, the Moscow Aviation Institute and Vladivostok State University.

Training of aviation specialists will begin in September 2024. The first 100 people will enroll in secondary vocational education in the following specialties: Technical operation of aircraft and engines and Technical operation of electrified and flight navigation complexes.

The Moscow Aviation Institute will act as a basic university and will be responsible for the development of an educational program, coordination of the content of basic disciplines, training in specialized disciplines and training for the type of aircraft.

Vladivostok State University will become a partner university and will conduct training in basic and part of specialized disciplines. Students will complete a mandatory internship at the provider's production base, and after graduation they will have the opportunity to work at Aeroflot Technics. Thanks to this strategic industry program, it becomes possible to meet the needs of the Far Eastern Federal District for highly qualified aviation and technical personnel.

On November 25, representatives of the provider held an open Day, where they told applicants about the possibility of obtaining aviation secondary vocational education. At the event, high school students learned more about the profession of an aircraft technician and training at the Moscow Aviation Institute on the basis of a branch of Vladivostok State University in Artem.

Recall that the decision to launch a program for network training and training of specialists in the operation and maintenance of aviation equipment was made following a meeting of the Governor of Primorye with the management of Aeroflot Technicsa meeting of the Governor of Primorye with the management of Aeroflot Technics and representatives of Moscow Aviation Institute in July 2023. Aeroflot Technics has linear service stations at 14 airports in Russia, including in the cities of the Far East: Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
